CoHousing Australia pays its respects to the traditional custodians of Country throughout Australia and the Torres Strait Islands and their continuing connection to country, community, culture, land and sea, and sky. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

We recognise our work in the context of the climate and biodiversity emergency but also in response to the social health and well-being crisis and the escalating costs of housing and living. This confluence of wicked problems necessitates a radical shift in how we think about housing, community, and society, from the hyper local scale and on a planetary scale.
